R v KA

A high profile multi-handed murder trial in which our client was charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice by assisting 4 defendants who were charged with shooting and killing another in retaliation for gang violence. It was alleged our client assisted by purchasing petrol used to burn out a vehicle used in the shooting. Our client was found not guilty after a 9 week trial at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey).

R v Z 

Conspiracy to traffic. It was alleged our client conspired to traffic victims into the county for the purpose of exploitation.

R v MS

 Multi handed blackmail and kidnap case.

R v LC

The Defendant was charged with conspiracy to kidnap, conspiracy to blackmail, robbery and possession of an imitation firearm. It was alleged that the complainant was kidnapped by two men impersonating police officers.  The case entirely focused on cell site evidence and movement of phone evidence.

Our client was unanimously acquitted following a 9 day trial for a multi-handed conspiracy to kidnap and blackmail. The case involved cell site, ID and forensic issues. 

R v MS and others

Six handed double murder involving a gunfight outside a London club. Violence spilled out into the street resulting in a running battle in which one man died at the scene and another shortly afterwards. One co-defendant was charged with Michael Smith’s attempted murder having shot him several times, and others with perverting the course of justice.

Hackney gang murder which featured in Graeme McLagan’s book 'Guns and Gangs: Inside Black Gun Crime.

R v J

9-handed murder trial in which our client was first on the indictment and confessed to police that he was present, implicating others in a ‘cut throat’ defence.

R v DB

High profile 11-handed murder trial at The Old Bailey, which was one the largest murder trials to ever take place. The Judge ordered the jury to find all 11 defendants not guilty of murder. Our client was sentenced for GBH.

R v SF and others

A large conspiracy to supply 40kg cocaine and over a 1,000,000 tablets of ecstasy. At the time it was considered to be the largest single seizure of ecstasy in the UK. The Defendant was on day release from prison during the period when he was the subject of directed and intrusive surveillance lasting for nearly six months.

R v RP and others

Substantial conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine amounting to a cutting and wholesale distribution warehouse operated from a suburban family home, servicing retail suppliers using a network of couriers. Eight Defendants were charged after a three month round-the-lock surveillance operation during which a shooting took place.

R v OM

Conspiracy to supply class A drugs, firearms and ammunition, following an undercover operation.

R v TP

Our client faced trial for conspiracy to rape a child under the age of 13, conspiracy to commit sexual activity with a child under the age of 13, and engaging in sexual activity with a child under the age of 13. This was a wide ranging and pedophile ring. The case involves the main defendant inviting other men, including our client, to have sex with her in front of her children.

R v S and others

Our client was acquitted in a multi-handed Old Bailey trial for Conspiracy to supply prohibited firearms. The Crown had alleged him to be the prime mover in this operation sourcing firearms for street gangs in Hackney.
