R v K

Conspiracy to obtain radioactive 'red mercury' for terrorist purposes. The main prosecution witness was the News of the World 'Fake Sheikh' journalist. All defendants were acquitted. The journalistic practices of the News of the World came under heavy scrutiny in this very lengthy case.

R v UH and MA

Terrorism case in which we represented 2 of the 3 defendants accused of various offences under the Terrorism Act. The allegations included putting together a team to replicate the London Bridge attack, preparing for acts of terror, possession of material for the use in terrorism and showing terrorism propaganda to students in a school in which one of our clients taught. We represented one defendant from arrest, dealing with 10 days of phased disclosure in the police station. The second defendant transferred to this firm prior to trial.

R v RC

21-year-old female charged with the attempted murder of a Labour MP at his surgery in East London. The defendant refused to recognise the jurisdiction of the court in this highly-publicized case.
