R v AF: a high profile case of a world renowned podiatrist charged with the attempted murder of her husband's lover in 2006. This case attracted daily media attention for the duration of the trial. The defendant was ultimately acquitted of attempted murder.
Columbian drug importation: (VHCC) Nigel acted for the main two defendants in a 36 handed conspiracy to supply cocaine and money launder. This case involved the largest seizure of cocaine in
Rigg Approach cases: These cases involved appeals against conviction for offences featuring corrupt robbery squad officers based at Rigg Approach. Nigel played a major role in the quashing of convictions for many serious offences including armed robbery and murder.
R v Carl Robinson: Defendant acquitted of kidnapping, firearms and threats to kill.
R v J Wright: Client acquitted of all charges following a gun fight at a South London nightclub.
R v L: Investment Banker acquitted of Rape in a "three in a bed" case attracting national media publicity. |
